Isn’t it ironic that when we feel depressed, we tend to sabotage ourselves. We stop doing the things that we KNOW would make us feel better, like pulling tarot cards or doing yoga.
Whenever I’ve felt depressed or low, I just don’t want to hear it. I know that if I pulled out a tarot card or read my horoscope, I’d probably feel better – but instead, sometimes I just want to wallow in my misery for a while.
So if it’s you too – if you’re feeling sad and just need to sit in that feeling for a while – that’s totally ok!
But when you’re ready to start feeling more positive about life, here’s some things that you can do:
- Pull a tarot or oracle card. If you’ve got a few decks, choose a deck that’s calling to you (or just choose one at random!). You’ll often get a much-needed message from the cards.
- Check your horoscope. There might be something in the stars that’s causing challenge or tension in your life. Try checking where Saturn is, and what house Saturn is transiting for you. Saturn is the planet of challenge, so this can show you what area of your life is being challenged right now. Astrology helps you see the bigger picture – eventually Saturn will move forward, and things will feel easier!
- Meditate. Sometimes we just need to tune OUT from the external world, and tune IN to the Universe. Meditation can ground you and help you see that your problems aren’t so big or bad.
