Weekly Herbal Moon Insights for week starting 28th April 2019.

This week marks the traditional date for Samhain in the southern hemisphere + Beltane in the northern hemisphere – wherever you are in the world, you can feel the seasons changing. Be aware of how the changing of seasons affects you, listen to + honour your body right now.

Monday 29th April:

Herbal Tarot card: Nine of Cups – Squawvine

Realise how far you’ve come – be satisfied with your achievements, but realise this is just one step of the way. Don’t stop creating, don’t stop achieving until you reach your dreams!

Tuesday 30th April:

Samhain blessings (or Beltane blessings for tomorrow, if you’re in the north)!

Wednesday 1st May:

Today the moon moves into the balsamic moon phase. You’ll be able to see the waning crescent moon in the sky, as she grows darker each day. The balsamic moon phase is perfect for rest + meditation. Make time for a meditation today – I love using guided meditations from Insight Timer app.

Thursday 2nd May:

Herbal Tarot card: Three of Pentacles – Gentian

This card is so perfect for this week – the gardener is in his garden under the waning moon, harvesting the fruits of his labour – as should you! Celebrate your achievements – and acknowledge what you have achieved.

Friday 3rd May:

Herbal Tarot card: Queen of Pentacles – Marshmallow (reversed)

Do you need nurturing? The Queen of Pentacles is about nurturing others, and suggests the nurturer is the one needing the nurturing. Nourish yourself with rest + healthy food today.

Saturday 4th May:

Herbal Tarot card: III The Empress – Dong Quai

Let the ideas flow today! As the new moon approaches, you may be feeling an abundance of creative energy flow within you. Bring forth your creations with joy!
