Weekly Herbal Moon Insights for week starting 30th June 2019.
The night is dark as the moon becomes new in the middle of this week. This new moon in Cancer presents opportunities to nurture yourself + protect your boundaries.
CARDS FOR THE WEEK
Spirit Animal Oracle Card: Swan Spirit – “Time for a deep dive”
Look beyond the surface for the answers to your questions. If there is conflict – look beneath what is going on, look to the root cause. Go deep and rediscover your Why, your purpose. Don’t be afraid to ask the deep questions.
Herbal Tarot card: Ace of Swords – Chamomile (reversed)
Watch that your confidence + strength does not become excessive or extreme. Stay positive – peace can be achieved.
Note to Self card: You are the only one in control of your thoughts. So you can be and feel whatever you want.
Thoughts are like clouds – we can fixate on them or simply let them float by. You have the choice for which thoughts you choose to spend time with – choose the positive thoughts, and let the negative thoughts drift away.
Sunday 30th June:
The waning moon is in Gemini today, enhancing your communication. Use this time to share your feelings with others, especially if you need to let something go – but try to stay peaceful + positive.
Monday 1st July:
The balsamic moon is a great time for smoke cleansing. Declutter your space + lightly clean, then use a smudgestick / smoke bundle to cleanse your space + yourself.
Today is also ideal for shadow work – let the Swan Spirit be with you today, don’t be afraid to dive deep into your thoughts + ask yourself the hard questions. Journal your thoughts – don’t become fixated on any negative thoughts, but work through them. When you are finished, smudge yourself.
Tuesday 2nd July:
New moon in cancer + partial solar eclipse! This can be a highly transformative day for your home + family life, as well as healing from the past. Even if you can’t see the eclipse from your part of the world (only visible in parts of South America just before sunset) you can still harness this eclipse energy for rapid transformation.
Friday 5th July:
The waxing moon in Leo today is perfect for rituals to increase your confidence, courage, creativity, and also fertility.
Saturday 6th July:
As the moon grows in the sky, you may feel your energy growing too. Do something productive today with your energy, but be aware of going to the extremes!
