Weekly Herbal Moon Insights for week starting 31st March 2019.
Mercury retrograde is over, the moon is waning…it’s a time for self reflection over the changes that have occurred this month.
Sunday 31st March:
Herbal Tarot card: Page of Wands – Shepherd’s Purse
Dreaming of new adventures? Visualise your new opportunities…you may feel called to make a vision board today. You can make a vision board digitally in Paint (or a similar program) or use Pinterest. You might prefer to be more hands-on and cut out pictures that inspire you and paste them onto a board. However you choose to make your vision board, let yourself dream and be inspired for new opportunities coming your way.
Monday 1st April:
The moon is continuing to wane and enters the “balsamic moon” phase now, or the waning crescent. Take time to rest and restore today, don’t start any new projects that require lots of your energy.
Tuesday 2nd April:
Herbal Tarot card: Queen of Pentacles – Marshmallow
The queen of pentacles is all about nurturing yourself and others! Nourish yourself with whatever you need today – good food, extra sleep, exercise, limited time on social media, etc. You may also find others asking your advice or needing nourishment from you.
Wednesday 3rd April:
Herbal Tarot card: Eight of Wands (reversed) – Sassafras
Be aware of your communication today – if you feel like your message isn’t being communicated effectively, clearing your throat chakra might be needed. Choose some blue crystals like sodalite or aqua aura quartz to carry with you, carry some sassafras bark, sing, or do a chakra cleansing meditation.
Thursday 4th April:
Herbal Tarot card: Five of Pentacles (reversed) – Mugwort
The five of pentacles often points to life’s bitter lessons – opportunities from hardships. If something goes wrong today, don’t stress – there is a new opportunity lurking around the corner.
Friday 5th April:
Today marks the new moon! The beginning of a new cycle. I feel the new moon just as powerfully as the full moon – do you? Take time to set your intentions for the coming cycle – journalling and seeking guidance from your tarot cards, runes or other means of divination are perfect for getting in touch with your new intentions.
Saturday 6th April:
Herbal Tarot card: Ten of Wands (reversed) – Prickly Ash Bark
If something is troubling you today, just remember it will be temporary. A short escape from your troubles may be needed to let them sort themselves out. Distance yourself physically or mentally from your troubles – either go on a trip or hibernate with a good book/movie. Let others be responsible for their actions and give yourself a well-needed break.
