It’s the astrological event of the year! Wondering how the astro energy will affect you this week? Read on to find out more about the Jupiter & Saturn conjunction, plus other astrological energy for the week ahead…
Here’s what this week holds for you:
Sunday 20th December 2020
Jupiter enters Aquarius; Venus in Sagittarius trines Chiron in Aries; Mercury conjoins the Sun in Sagittarius
Love yourself deeply today – indulge in a beauty ritual, repeat loving affirmations, give yourself a loooong meditation or yoga session. Show yourself some love & healing energy! Your thoughts will also be turning towards how you can harness this Sagittarius energy before Capricorn season begins – such as, what do you want to study? Where do you want to travel to? What is the deeper meaning behind your actions?
Monday 21st December 2020
Solstice; Capricorn season begins; Jupiter conjunct Saturn in Aquarius
A powerful day – a turning point. As the sun enters Capricorn, this day will also be the longest/shortest of the year (depending on whether you’re in the Southern or Northern hemisphere). Regardless of whether you’re acknowledging the winter or summer solstice, both solstices signify a turning point. A time for reflecting on the past 6 months, and looking ahead for the next 6 months. Be grateful for all that has passed & set intentions for the future.
Want to explore this Capricorn energy more deeply? I’ve created a downloadable + printable journal just for you to dive into planning your goals for the year ahead. Inside you’ll find journal questions, intention setting, card spreads + rituals for each of the major moon phases for the month ahead.

Today also marks one of the most anticipated astrological events of the year – the Jupiter & Saturn conjunction in Aquarius. This marks the beginning of a new age, where we can expect challenges to bring luck + abundance as we embrace the free-thinking & unconventional energy of Aquarius. If your North Node, Jupiter or Sun are in Aquarius, 2021 will be an especially lucky year for you!
The thing to note about this Great Conjunction is that the effects may be subtle, although they will be widely felt. Don’t expect big changes today! But trust that a collective shift is beginning, and that 2021 will be a MUCH different year than 2020.
Tuesday 22nd December 2020
First quarter moon in Aries
Step into your personal power & take inspired action towards your goals. The first quarter moon in Aries can bring you a sense of heightened energy, courage & drive. It’s time to bring your intentions into reality – make it happen!
Thursday 24th December 2020
Moon conjunct Mars in Aries square with Pluto in Capricorn; Mercury in Capricorn squares Chiron in Aries
Emotions will be your driving force to breakthrough challenges today. Let go of your control – surrender, because you KNOW you can’t control everything. Don’t get frustrated if things aren’t working out. Let it go! Avoid impulsive actions – you might be better off creating a long-term plan to meet your goals, rather than just charging at your to-do list and trying to get everything done now.
Friday 25th December 2020
Moon conjunct Uranus in Taurus; Mercury in Capricorn trine Uranus in Taurus
Uranus in Taurus is being “triggered” today, so expect the unexpected this Christmas! Sudden changes in emotions, chaotic feelings, surprising reactions, strange conversations…Christmas 2020 feels like a day we won’t be forgetting in a hurry!
Saturday 26th December 2020
Sun in Capricorn squares Chiron in Aries
As the sun dawns on a new day, we face our healing challenges with maturity. It feels like an aftermath of that Uranus energy on Christmas day – we’re ready to assess what we want to leave behind in 2020. Old wounds, arguments, pain…today is a chance for us to move through these challenges so we can be a brighter version of ourselves for the year ahead. Focus on healing yourself today so you’re not dragging that sh*t into 2021.
What inspired actions are you ready to taken with the first quarter moon?
